This course introduces students to the study of Mexico by looking at its past, its present, and its future. It reviews the critical junctures of Mexican history including conquest, independence, and revolution. It reflects on Mexico's current socio-political situation. And it contemplates Mexico's future both globally and in alliance with the rest of North America. This course will be taught by the Fulbright Mexico Studies Chair.
