Contemporary Correctional Systems: This special topics course will examine local, state, and federal correctional systems currently in use in the United States. Students will examine current efforts to improve these systems as well as barriers to reform. It is recommended that students take SO-302 prior to taking this course, but not required. It will be tailored to students at varying academic levels.
