The intent of this course is to engage first year students in study and reflection about what it means to be a leader while early in their college careers. We will explore personal aspects of leadership (such as personality and emotional intelligence), leaders throughout history (good or bad, you decide!), as well as culture and leadership. We will also test the idea of how student leadership opportunities build one's leadership capacity during the college years.
