This course will focus on the intersection between politics and sports. We will discuss the politics of inclusion and exclusion in sports participation, the funding of sports infrastructure, athletes as political actors, the role of sports in nationalism, and more. Our course materials will be drawn from many disciplines (political science, law, history, communications, etc.).
