This course will focus on the application of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the world of business analytics. Topics will include introduction to ML and AI concepts, evaluating and producing predictive and classification methods and techniques, Neural Networks, discrimination analysis, cluster analysis, timeseries analysis, and ethical considerations around Big Data and AI. The class will primarily use R to practice the techniques. Prerequisite: EB-211 or MA-205 or MA-220 or another 200-level statistics course from another department.
