This course examines U.S.-Mexico relations and how it has changed over time. The course is an introduction to historic events on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border in subjects like ideology, identity, government, culture, religion, society, and the economy. In a comparative approach, students will examine mutual effects based on a shared history. The course is appropriate for students without any prior coursework in history or politics, as well as any student who want to learn more about Mexico and its relationship with the United States.
